Crew Surveys

Surveys people actually answer, honestly

Jaluru runs your check-ins and engagement surveys as phone conversations. Each person picks their moment, talks for a few minutes, and you hear what they really think.

96%

of crew prefer talking to AI about how things are going. Jaluru was originally built to automate crew check-in surveys, and this is why.

“Unlike group meetings where people may be shy, this call format allows individuals to comfortably share their problems.” Crew member, from 172 crew surveyed after their call
Voice versus forms

Why a conversation beats a web form

A form records what people are willing to type. A conversation finds out what they mean.

AI voice conversationWeb-only form
A vague or evasive answerThe AI notices and asks a follow-up: "Can you give me an example?"Accepted exactly as typed. "Fine" stays "fine".
DepthPeople talk for minutes, in their own words, and say things they would never type.A few words in a text box, or a row of ticks.
CompletionA call at a time each person chooses, with reminders by text and email.A link in an inbox, opened once and abandoned part-way.
AccessibilityJust a phone call or a text. No app, no login and no training on a new system. Works for crew with English as a second language.Needs a smartphone, a login, confident reading and writing.

How it runs

Each person chooses their moment

Pick who to survey and when reminders should start. Each person gets a text with their own code, and replies when they are ready for the call.

  • Your questions. Start from our standard check-in and edit it, or write your own.
  • On shift or off. Calls can be taken while clocked in, so no extra pay is owed.
  • One call, then a text. If someone misses the call, the AI texts rather than ringing again and again.
  • Any survey you run today. New-starter check-ins, regular engagement surveys, manager feedback and exit interviews.

Reach the people behind the counter

Part-timers, weekend crew and people who never open a work email are the ones you most need to hear from, and the ones online surveys miss.

A phone call reaches all of them, and takes less of their time than a form.

Know who needs a conversation

Every answer is scored by the AI from 0 to 1 for how much it needs a manager's attention. Scores roll up from question, to survey, to person.

  • Escalation alerts. An email when a score passes the threshold you set.
  • Summary and transcript. Read the two-line summary, or the whole conversation.
  • Safeguarding. Bullying, harassment or distress is flagged for HR straight away.

Aggregate reports

Sentiment across every site

The survey summary report pulls everyone's answers together, for one store or all of them.

  • For each question: how the answers are spread, an escalation score, and a short summary of what people said.
  • The comments that matter. The ones that most need your attention are pulled out for you.
  • Compare. One store month to month, or one store against another.
  • Trends. Charts of survey and absence trends across your estate.
